COME SING WITH THE SUMMER CHOIR!
Sundays: June 29, July 13 & 27, and August 17 | 10:00 AM | Choir Room
We will be led musically in worship by the Intergenerational SUMMER CHOIR. “What IS THAT?!” you may ask. The Intergenerational Summer Choir is open to alladults, youth and children (going into 2nd grade or older) who like to sing! Children are encouraged to bring their parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins! Everyone can sing and ALL are welcome! Rehearsals are at 10am (come earlier for a kolache or doughnut!) in the Choir Suite (Rm. 126) on the Sunday mornings that we sing. We will not wear robes. We will sing easy anthems and responses that can be learned quickly. If ever you have sung in a choir or wanted to sing in a choir, this is your opportunity. Let’s FILL the Choir Loft! Come give back to God the gift of music that God has given to us!

RED, WHITE, AND BLUE BRUNCH POTLUCK
July 6 l 9:45 AM – 10:45 AM l Atrium
Let’s celebrate the Fourth of July holiday with our annual Moody brunch potluck. Bring something to share. Kolaches, donuts, fruit, casserole, anything you like. Drop your contribution off in the Atrium by 9:30 AM. Brunch starts at 9:45 AM – 10:45 AM. We will not have Sunday School that day. Go to the events page to sign up.

SAFE SANCTUARY TRAINING FOR VBS 2025 ROADTRIP

All of our volunteers need to participate in Safe Sanctuary training. If you have signed up to be a volunteer or want to volunteer, please plan to attend this training. Lunch will be provided. It will last about an hour.
You’ll also learn some of our VBS songs and get to meet the other volunteers. Questions, contact aharrell@moody.org.

VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL

Join us for VBS 2025! Who can sign-up? Children who will be going into PK-4 to 7th Grade in the fall are welcome. It takes a village to host this VBS that welcomes the whole community, so we are also looking for all kinds of volunteers. Older students are welcome to sign-up as volunteers! FOOD BANK DISTRIBUTION

Working together with Central Church, we help over 300 families in Galveston receive fruit, vegetables, meat, bread, and other pantry essentials thanks to our partnership with the Galveston County Food Bank. Everyone is welcome to volunteer. This is a great way for families with kids to serve together. Go to the events page.

IS IT WORTH IT – DUI AND DISTRACTED DRIVING FORUM

SUMMER MUSICAL - "100% CHANCE OF RAIN"

Come sing in this year’s Summer Musical at Moody UMC! The story of Noah, the ark, and the animals are told through fun, jazzy music accompanied by piano, bass, drums, and oboe. All 2nd through 12th graders are invited to sing! 
Rehearsals: Mon. July 28 – Fri. Aug. 1: 6:00 PM -8:30 PM every evening w/ snack; Sat. Aug. 2: 9:00 AM -12:00 PM; Sun. Aug. 3: 9:30 AM -10:30 AM.
